Interview with „Destiny”

1) In your own words, define hacker.
I believe its someone who watches over systems, They try to find a solution to a problem, They are constantly curious and try to learn as much as they can.

I gave it to myself. What I learn today could very well be my „Destiny”.
3) What is your technical background. (Which platform do you prefer PC/MAC? What is your online background? Do you do networking? Do you know programming languages, etc.)
I prefer PC platforms. I learn what I can provided limitations of access. Programming I can do without, too tiring.
4) Estimate how much time your spend online a week. During that time what activities do you perform?
I spend at least two or more hours a week online when I get access. I like to surf, lurk, and browse for information I need or just to appease a curiousity at the moment.
5) Are you employed? If so what do you do for a living?
Yes, I am employed. I’ve worked during my high school summers and before I started college, during college, and all summers the years through. I have worked for companies which required a variety of skills. I am a fast learner and I read to learn. I am now working on my network certification.

Yes, I am. I suppose its my sense of humor.

I have contact with my peers. I am treated with respect because this is what I transmit. I would not have it any other way. I do unto others as they do unto me.
8) Is the treatment you receive from hackers different than that in the workplace?
Of course hackers would treat you equally. In the workplace, most people think you don’t know half of what you actually do know. They ignore the fact you know more than them. Some people are too ambitious or selfish to give you a chance in the workplace.

Most definitely, women should get out there and learn everything. We can have the same opportunities as men. Our intelligence is what matters when dealing with technology.

She portrayed the hacker woman well. She was quite intelligent and resourceful.
